All Hallows Academy is one of the most prestigious universities in the world for witches and wizards and being accepted into All Hallows is an honor Lavinia Bloodbane and her best friend Jensen have been dreaming of for years.
The academic year at All Hallows starts with its most renowned tradition: Thirteen Days of Halloween. Each day of the thirteen days leading up to All Hallow’s Eve, a famous witch or wizard from the past is called upon and asked to reach through the veil separating the living from the death.
Lavinia wants nothing more than to fit in at All Hallows, but when something from beyond the veil reaches out to her on the First Day of Halloween, fitting in at the academy will be the least of her concerns…
“This is going to be amazing!”
Jensen, my best friend, grabbed my hand and squeezed it. His smile spread from ear to ear and seeing it, I couldn’t help but smile myself.
Today was our first day at All Hallows Academy, one of the most renowned institutions for witchcraft and wizardry in the world.
Before enrolling at All Hallows, Jensen and I had attended high school together, and our number one dream for the past three years had been to get into All Hallows. We both worked hard to get here, and standing here today, it still didn’t feel real.
“I think you already grabbed some people’s attention,” I remarked, grinning as a group of girls walked past us, some of them throwing flirty glances in Jensen’s direction.
I knew my best friend was attractive, although I had never seen him that way—to me, he was the boy I had grown up with, who had gone to Miss Hecate’s Kindergarten for Magical Toddlers for the first time on the same day I did. I had accidentally made a doll come to life, courtesy of my lack of control over my powers, and Jensen had saved me by knocking the doll unconscious.
Miss Hecate was anything but pleased that one of her students had caused such havoc, but the incident had formed the foundation of my friendship with Jensen, and we had been best friends ever since.
Now we were here, roughly fifteen years later, and there was no one I would rather be here with, at All Hallows Academy.
“Yeah, right.” Jensen snorted sarcastically, referring back to my earlier comment that he had caught the eye of quite a few witches already.
Jensen had always been oblivious to his own good looks—a stark contrast with his brother, Flynn, and the one person I did not look forward to bumping into in the hallways.
Okay, that was a lie. Part of me was looking forward to it. The stupid part. The teenage-crush part.
During the summer holidays two years ago, while I spent most of my time hanging out with Jensen, I developed this enormous crush on his older brother Flynn and ended up making a fool of myself as I tried everything to get his attention. Flynn, on the other hand, practically ignored me and dated girl after girl until none of us could keep track anymore.
Chill, Liv. Don’t let him get into your head again. Flynn is old news.
At least that was what I told myself while I kept trying to catch a peek of him in the crowd, but so far, no luck.

Hello and welcome, readers! We have Majanka Verstraete here with us today. Majanka Verstraete, thanks for visiting us.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I have been writing books ever since I learned how to write, but my first official publication dates back to about ten years ago. It was called “Mirror, Mirror”, later renamed to “Fractured”, a young adult dark fantasy novel. In the meantime, the sequel to that, “Reflected”, has also been released.
Tell us about your title featured in: A Cursed All Hallows’ Eve
My story “All Hallows Academy” is an academy / reverse harem story told in different seasons. Season one focuses on the “Thirteen Days of Halloween”, a yearly event held at All Hallows Academy, in which a different witch or wizard from the past is honored each day during the thirteen days leading up to Halloween. The first episode of this season is featured in the box set.
How did you come up with the storyline?
I have been wanting to write in this format for a while, with different “seasons” and “episodes,” like you see on TV. I like the idea of a book episode following the format of a TV episode, with a nicely completed story while at the same time also having an overarching story arc. Since the box set is Halloween themed, and I’ve wanted to write another academy / reverse harem for a while, the rest of the inspiration came easily.
What inspires you to write?
Everything. It’s really hard to answer this one. Not a day goes by that I don’t have inspiration for one thing or another, and I really enjoy writing. It’s my favorite spare time activity and hardly ever feels like a chore.
Tell us about your other books:
I have written over forty books and counting, so there’s a lot to tell. Let me focus primarily on books in similar genres.
My “Academy for the Wicked” series will probably be of interest for readers who enjoyed “All Hallows Academy”. It’s a reverse harem academy series with all types of diabolical creatures: demons, vampires, warlocks, necromancers… It’s called “wicked” for a reason.
Then, in terms of young adult books, I have a whole lot of different series, so I’ll just sum up some of my books here. All of them can also be found on my website. I have indicated the ones that are not published yet, but that are available for pre-order.
The Soul Thief (Angel of Death Series #1) / YA Paranormal
Demonic Pact (Angel of Death Series #2) / YA Paranormal (available for pre-order)
See All Evil (Academy for the Wicked #1) / NA Reverse Harem Academy
Ghost Slayer / NA Paranormal Romance
Symphony of the Departed (Allegro Academy #1) / YA Paranormal Academy (available for pre-order)

The Wolf of the Baskervilles (The Adventures of Marisol Holmes #3) / YA Paranormal Mystery / Romance
The Conclave of Fear (The Adventures of Marisol Holmes #4) / YA Paranormal Mystery / Romance (available for pre-order)

Prologue
Shores of Pickering Wharf
Salem, MA
Week of Halloween
The hefty breeze pushed the small, blue, rolling waves into white, jagged peaks with the same urgency he felt inside as he sat gazing out upon the vastness of the water. Leaning against a weathered retaining wall with an audible sigh, Luca glanced behind him at the blue-gray haze over the small town cityscape silhouette. The pollution, a mixture of smoke and sky, presented itself as an omen of great significance to him. He knew the buildings, along with some of the houses beyond, already held within them the inhabitants he’d both come to protect and come to battle. In his five hundred years as a Watcher, the energy of the Earth had changed, negatively affecting the human condition.
He viewed their existence from his realm on a daily basis, a place just beyond this one, a small segment of space that served as a window to the world. From his perch there, each city had its own fundamental haze blurring its buildings and beings. This mystical force field, referred to as The River of Light, or simply The River by Watchers such as Luca, formed an energy grid covering the earth.
The grid could be seen as a matrix of light, sound, and colors forming geometric patterns around the planet. Humans had attempted to observe such patterns in the study of Sacred Geometry, but the immortal Watchers watched over and recorded the changing spiritual energies of history from their posts at The River. Ever shifting, the ebbs and flows of the negative and positive life energy swirled and moved over the varied landscapes of the Earth much like waterways. Therefore, it was critical for him to witness when certain changes emerged, what energy the events causing the changes added to the collective conscious of the world, and how the energy impacted the flow of The River. Recently, this city in the northeastern part of the United States had grown darker and darker until it choked under a bout of polluted smog-like energies. To give an ironic but truthful view of history, this was the first time Salem, Massachusetts had looked this bad. Even then, the frenzy of the only spiritual pollution inspired by the hunters during the witch hunts hadn’t darkened things to this extent. The residual energy that lingered here had been built upon since and currently required his intervention.
On Earth, back in true human form, a Watcher could see through this haze to the true souls of the people revealed to him in the colors of their auras. Both systems simply mirrored each other. Just as the human body had a meridian system with vital life force energy flowing through it, the world had a similar system of passageways through which the collective life force flowed. They not only mirrored each other, but affected each other, too. On the astral plane, the integral energy of human thoughts, words, and deeds combined into the mystical force field he kept watch over. Although he’d been sent to Earth many times before, a greater sense of foreboding gripped him this time. The places where the lines of the energy grid intersected and channeled to the earth had become blocked at alarming rates here these last few days, warning of impending danger. At portals such these, the energy proved stronger in its effects on the surrounding area.

I always believed mythology to be stories from the past, but what if they’re prophecies… and now they’re coming true?
I didn’t want to take my little sister trick-or-treating on Halloween night, but I’m glad I did.
I’m surprised to meet a handsome stranger with an otherworldly air in the shadows. At first he intimidates me, but when our paths cross again at a masquerade party, I have the chance to get to know him. I find him captivating, but I doubt his claims that his name is Hades—the name belonging to the Greek God of the Underworld. After all, what are the chances it’s his real name, God or not, when my name is Persephone—the same as Hades’ mythological queen?
What’s he going to say next? That he’s the real Greek God of the Underworld? That we’re destined to be together? It seems more likely he’s trying to win me over, and yet, I want to get to know him better. I’m drawn to him more than other men; the difference is like night and day.
I’ll give him a chance, but I don’t believe he’s the real Hades or that we have a special destiny. Of course, I’ve been known to be wrong.
“So what do I call you?” I asked him, wondering if I should be using ‘Your Majesty’ or a term of respect like that.
“I told you,” he said. “My name is Hades.”
“Then I will call you that,” I promised him.
The room was steeped in luxury, but his attention wasn’t on it; it was on me. In my normal, everyday life I might’ve questioned why, but in this land and in my dream, I merely took it as a compliment. We walked on through his castle, and when we reached another room, which seemed a more relaxed reception room, we sat down together at a wooden table.
It wasn’t lost on me that the castle was exceptionally well-kept, with tapestries decorating its walls, ornate chandeliers, and many beautiful relics and paintings from all over the world. It made me wonder when he had gathered them, if he’d done so himself, but my instincts told me he had. I could sense his touch on everything in our surroundings, even the castle itself. It truly felt like his realm.
“What are you thinking about?” he asked me, as he leaned forward over the table, steepling his fingers beneath his chin.
I shook my head, because it was hard to explain. “I’m just experiencing this—your castle, the world it’s in, Hades.”
His name felt strange as I spoke it, as though it held more power here than in the mortal world. I finally understood then that speaking his name had meaning, and there were many who might not have dared to speak it at all.
“This is the underworld,” he told me, as he regarded me with interest.
“I know,” I answered softly. Prior to meeting him, it had merely been a concept, but now I knew it was real, and I was here for a time. I glanced out the window. It was stained glass, and patterned in blues and greens, but I could tell that the day was growing darker outside. It seemed night was swiftly approaching.

She’s always taken the path less traveled. They’ve always
barreled through roadblocks. Can they find a way to be together without losing
themselves?
Lula’s a Fierce Dragon… She’s given bits of
herself to others when she was sure she had no mate of her own, even knowing it
would cost her life at some point.
Atika and Abyle, Twins with A Purpose… They
lived to protect their clan, until their brother took over as alpha. Just as
they think they can relax, they meet their truemate. A feisty dragon female who
runs from them.
The Triad Bond… Their beast won’t be denied,
but finding their little dragon proves harder than they’d anticipated. However,
once they bond with her, there’s no denying the love they share. What they
didn’t foresee was a stranger from Lula’s past coming for her and her mother.
Will the trio have a chance at happily ever after, or will
the Dragon King who lost his greatest treasures demand back, or kill who stands
in his way?
Get ready for an exciting return of some of your favorite
characters in this stand-alone…sort of “wink” story. You just might hear from
the Fey Queen, the bad boy alpha Kellen, and what would a reunionish story be
without #dontlookdown aka Creed.
“Jenna, you realize I’m the alpha here, don’t you?”
“You realize you’re out-femaled here, don’t you?” Jenna
retorted.
“Both of you, shut it before I set your asses on fire,” Lula
growled. “Goddess, I just sounded like a wolfie.”
“That’s unacceptable. Be like a bear. We rumble.” Atika slid
next to her, his nose tickling her ear.
“Beary, I will—” her words died in her throat as Abyle moved
in on her other side.
“Boys, the three of you won’t fit through the door…or you
will, my bad.” Jenna laughed.
“What the flying monkey asses did you do?” Kellen roared, and
this time the liquor bottles shattered.
“Kellen Motherfucking Styles, I’m not cleaning up that
mess,” Laikyn yelled.
“Wolfies, stop yelling. Aw, look at my little wolfie
babies.” Lula hurried over to the little prison Laikyn had her sons corralled
in. “What kind of thing is this, and what did they do to be put in confinement?
Surely they can get out for good behavior?”
Lyric, the little female she loved like a crazy sister,
laughed from behind her. “It’s called a playgate, only it’s been shifterfied.
You know, for shifter babes.”
“I’m assuming that is a good thing?” Lula bent down to pick
up a little boy in each arm. The sound of two bears moaning made her blush.
“Son-of-a-fucking-dragonlovingbear,” Abyle growled.
“Down, boys.” Jenna patted Abyle, her touch like a mother
soothing a child.
“Um, Jenna, my dragon don’t like you touching them.”
Power flooded the room moments before two men, each holding
a little girl, entered.
“For fucks sake. What did I say about that shit?” Kellen
muttered.
“Temper temper, wolf.”
“Damien, didn’t I say to give me ten minutes?” Jenna asked.
“Your two crotch goblins wouldn’t wait.”
They all turned at the booming voice. Lula grinned, loving
the batshit crazy male, son of Satan and an angel.
“Creed, you probably shouldn’t refer to these two little
angels as crotch goblins.”
Creed pointed at Jenna. “That’s what she calls them.”
Jenna had a finger over her lips making a zipping motion. “I
mean, they kinda gobbled their way out of my vajayjay, and they gobble
everything they get their mouths on. Goddess, don’t glare at me with such censure
on your faces or no fucky fucky for you two.”
“Please make her stop talking, Damien, or you, Lucas.
Surely, one of you tops her,” Kellen growled while Jenna laughed.
“Keep on chuckling, but you’re leaking, so who gets the last
laugh?” Creed folded his arms with a nod.
“Dammit. See, what you’ve done? You brought them, and my
boobs wake up.” She stomped over, grabbing one of the little girls with a snarl,
smiling down at the baby.
“You’re not gonna whip a boob out and feed them here are
you?” Xan asked.
“Enough,” Lula roared. “This is not a circus show. Jenna,
take your babies and your boobs, and I don’t mean your mates, though they can
be boobs too, home to feed. Kellen, I’ll need the use of your office for only a
moment then I’ll take my err, mates to be, maybe, off somewhere else. Everyone
who is not a bear and or a dragon, exit the office. And that means everyone who
is not Lula, Atika or Abyle, get the fuck out of here. Now, please.” She tacked
the last bit on, so she didn’t hurt anyone’s feelings.
“Damn, our little dragon grew some balls. I like it.” Laikyn
said. She and Lyric high-fived each other as they turned from the entryway.
“Yeah, well, don’t take any notes from her. You can’t shift
into a huge-ass dragon and burn a forest down,” Kellen muttered before scooping
up his boys.

Hello and welcome, readers! We have Elle Boon here with
us today. Elle, thanks for visiting us.
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
Hi, and thank you so much for having me here. I’ve been writing for just over five years, or rather published for five years. In all actuality, I’ve only been writing for a little over six years though, which might seem crazy, but it’s true.
Tell us about your title featured in A Cursed All Hallows’ Eve:
A Cursed All Hallows’ Eve: Their Dragon Mate is the story of my crazy dragon Lula who if you’re a reader of mine, you’ve met throughout my Iron Wolves and my Mystic Wolves series. She’s kinda popped in as a little side character who has helped the other characters out of situations. She’s always kinda been this larger than life, funny heroine who had wanted to write a story about but hadn’t found the right time to do so. About a year ago I was writing a story with a bear and one of my Mystic Wolves girls and Lula popped in and did a little thing (she’s a huge pink dragon and thought she’d never find a mate since she and her mama had been exiled from their realm before Lula had been born) so she gives little bits of herself to save her friends. Well, as she helps the latest heroine, she come face-to-face with not one, but two bears who set her world a spinning. I had no clue that was coming because I’m a punster when I write. So, I sat back and thought, holy shite, how am I gonna write a menage for Lula? Well, I sort of thought I’d do a chapter a month in my newsletter, but then life interrupted and then bam, this anthology came, and Their Dragon Mate flowed.
Lula and her guys are so perfect because she’s a pink dragon she needed more than your average shifter, she needed two bears who were also more than just grizzly bears. Of course, I’ll let you read to find out exactly what I’m talking about, but trust me, I made them…extra “wink.
How did you come up with the storyline?
The story started when I finished writing Atlas’s Forbidden Mate in my Mystic Wolves series. However, I wrote this one as a stand-alone so that new to me readers wouldn’t feel as though they were lost.
What inspires you to write?
I find inspiration in just about everything around me. For instance, my girlfriend’s dad who has passed away was a very funny and unique man. One day while we were parked next to one another waiting for our kids to get out of school I rolled down my window to chat with him as he sat in her van and heard him say “Tammy, this van is gotdamn offensive to my nose.” I took that little bit of conversation and put it in a story. I take ordinary things or parts of conversations, twist them, turn them, and make them more.
Tell us about your other books:
I have over 40 other titles ranging from shifters, gods and goddesses, badass MC alphas, Navy SEALs, and contemporary. I love them all because they are all at the heart romance with the story revolving around the H/H. I always seem to have a conflict outside of the romance instead of the H/H. So, not like one of the soap opera novels LOL and you are always guaranteed a happily ever after with each one of my stories, never a cliffy or serial. And while I strive to write each title as a stand-alone, I do think once you are on say book 6 or 7 in a series, you will find they read better in order LOL.
My first book in most of my series are either FREE or set at $.99 so that readers can try one of my stories and see if they like my work and hopefully fall in love with my worlds. I do also tend to cross my paranormal people over into each other’s worlds, because I can LOL. But again, you can totally read the Iron Wolves without having to read the Mystic first and vice versa.

About the Author:
Elle Boon is a reader first and foremost…and of course if you know her, she’s the crazy lady with purple hair. She’s also a USA Today Bestselling Author who lives in Middle-Merica as she likes to say…with her husband and Kally Kay, her black lab who also thinks she’s her writing partner. (She happens to sit next to her begging for treats and so takes a lot of credit). She has two amazing kids, Jazz and Goob, and is a MiMi to one adorable little nugget named Romy or RomyGirl (greatest job EVER) who has totally won over everyone who sees hers (If anyone says a hair bow is too big, they’re crazy). She’s known for saying “Bless Your Heart” and dropping lots of F-bombs (I mean lots of F-BOMBS, but who is keeping track?).
She loves where this new journey has taken her and has no plans on stopping. She writes what she loves to read, and that’s romance, whether it’s about Navy SEALs, HOT as F**K MC heroes, or paranormal alphas. #dontlookdown is a thing you will need to google. “Wink” With all her stories, you’re guaranteed a happily ever after, no matter what twisted thing her mind has come up with. Her biggest hope is that after readers have read one of her stories, they fall in love with her characters as much as she has. She loves creating new worlds and has more just waiting to be written. Elle believes in happily ever after and can guarantee you will always get one within the pages of her books.
